Joshua Tree Engagement Photos

Updated: Jul 4, 2022

Joshua Tree National Park is one of my favorite places on this earth to visit! I first visited in September 2021 as the last stop on my road trip moving from Louisiana to California. My dad and I (plus my cat Palmer lol) were making great time in the days leading up to my move in on October 1st, so I convinced him to go a little out of our way so that we could spend the night in Joshua Tree.

One of the benefits of visiting Joshua Tree is that the accommodations and activities are on the lower end! Our Airbnb for one night was under $200, and it was in a perfect location close to the park, restaurants, and some of the cute boutiques on Twentynine Palms Highway. Find a few of my favorites linked below:

I was so excited to have the opportunity to return to Joshua Tree this month for a shoot with the cutest couple, Calyn and Taylor. We started around 3pm, which ended up being a bit warm, but ended around 5pm when the sun started going down - it was super chilly at that point, so I definitely recommend bringing layers for the later parts of the shoot.

Calyn and Taylor were so special to shoot. Their connection is absolutely beautiful, and their love is absolutely palpable. See for yourself:
